Thank you for your interest in my sort test program. I will try to explain all of the options below. Feel free to contact me if you find any bugs/issues, you have some suggestions for improvements or just to say thank you.


SORT SCHEME:

You can choose between DAY SORT, TWILIGHT SORT and NIGHT SORT.


ORDER:

SEQUENTIAL: This setting will ask questions in alphabetical order for states and numerical order for Ohio zips.

RANDOM: This setting will ask questions in a random order for states and Ohio zips.


OHIO:

Choose whether to include questions from the Ohio database or not.


STATES:

Choose whether to include questions from the state database or not. This also includes Canada, special bags and other special case items.


SLICS:

This turns slics on to make things a little more realistic. Any SLIC ending with a * is randomly generated while those without the * should be accurate. This option is forced on if BAD SLICS is enabled.


1 DAY AIR: | 2 DAY AIR: | 3 DAY AIR: | GROUND:

These settings will enable different service levels.

1 DAY AIR special options:


HINTS:

This turns on hints for some of the states. This is useful when trying to learn where things go as it will make things easier to remember.


INCLUDE:

You can use this setting to bring up a list of the questions on the state database. You can click on the buttons to enable and disable certain parts of the state test.


CITY NAME:

RANDOM: Some zip codes in the database have more than one city name included. This option will pick one at random.

PRIMARY: This option will pick the first city in the database.

ALL: This option will display all city names for the current zip code.

NO: This option will display a zip code only with no city name.


BAD SLICS:

This can be used to include bad slics in your test.

NEVER: should never generate a bad SLIC.

OFF: should not influence the questions in any way.

FORCED: should only pick questions with bad SLICs.

The numbers 0% - 100% should should force that frequency of bad SLICs, but only on states that have them.


RESET SCORE COUNTERS:

This button can be used to reset the correct and wrong scores back to 0.


DELETE ALL SAVED DATA:

This option will reset all settings back to defaults and remove any saved data from your local browser.


Min OH Zip and Max OH Zip:

These two boxes allow you to specify a range of zip codes to include for the Ohio tests. You may type numbers in manually or use the arrow buttons to cycle the numbers. The acceptable range is 43000 to 45999 and the max number can not be lower than the min number.
